With an aim for a sincere effort towards Excellence, Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology (PSIT) Kanpur, was established in the year 2004 by Mr. Pranveer Singh (Founder & Chairman) & is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University and CSJMU (Kanpur University). PSIT is a modern educational endeavor and has the finest infrastructure, expert teaching methodology, Research & Development initiatives, and excellent placement records. PSIT has the best infrastructure and facilities in North India, Its distinctive features includes: UP’s only centrally AC Campus with 3000 Ton central AC Plant, state-of-the-art infrastructure, 33KV uninterrupted power supply directly from powerhouse, On-Campus spacious separate AC hostels for 700 girls & 1100 Boys, AC Auditorium with 1300 seating capacity, Hygienic AC Mess & Cafeteria, Central RO water supply across the campus, 24X7 medical facility, Indoor-Outdoor Games & Playgrounds. The lush green, ecofriendly and Wi-Fi campus has been designed to cater to the overall requirements of the students with the Internet lease line of 100 Mbps. Moreover, PSIT has become the only Institute in U.P. to have more than 1500 Computer Work Stations, installed in its various labs.

PSIT is a pioneer institute offering professional education in Technology, Pharmacy, Management & Computer Applications. Various technological Labs have been set up to inculcate scientific temper, innovative approach, and entrepreneurship.
PSIT Kanpur offers its students a wide variety of UG and PG courses, awarding B.Tech, BBA, B.Pharma, BCA, MBA, D.Pharma, MCA, B.A. LLB, M.Tech, M.Pharma, Polytechnic, etc. B.Tech. courses are offered in 6 fields of engineering and technology.

The institute has student-centric policies that encourage them to perform better in Academics, Cultural & Core fields. PSIT’s intense academics curriculum, Mandatory Personality Development Classes, Numerous Sports & Literary Events give students ample opportunities to sharpen their skills. Annual Techno-Cultural fest ‘Ignitia’ groom the students’ personality and give them enough room to grow intellectually, technically and culturally. Various International & National Seminar, Conferences, Guest Lectures, R&D workshops, Etc. are also organized regularly. The Institute’s association with NHRD National Human Resource Development helps it to bridge the gap between Academia and Industry. PSIT is among 250 colleges across India who are Campus Connect with Infosys. Infosys extends umpteen intellectual technology support through faculty development programs and workshops on cutting edge technology for the students. It is also the largest online testing partner of TCS-ION. They have a membership of the “Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia” too. PSIT has its mobile App, documentary, and song gifted by its own students.

It is an annual farewell event of the institute to bid goodbye to seniors with loads n loads of memory to cherish for life.

The placement portfolio of PSIT is unfolding yet another event of glory and pride and is conspicuous by its outstanding placement records year after year which would undoubtedly motivate the students to carve a niche for themselves in the professional sphere. PSIT has again given a record placement 5th time in a row in North India by placing 52% of students in first placement week. various eminent corporates have been visiting the institute for years which speaks volumes about the quality of professionals Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University nurtures every year. Excellent training along with focus on technical education led to a spectacular figure of 322 selections in Infosys Limited, 119 in TCS, 61 in Wipro, 38 in Tech Mahindra, 30 in Capgemini this year Besides this, they have 35 Students placed in L& T, 38 in IBM, 44 in Accenture, 51 in Syntel, 27 in Dell, 17 in LAVA and 18 in Bosch just to name a few. The students also make the institute proud by proving their mettle in getting selected in Defense Services, MNCs, PSUs, and Banks. Infosys is a Day-1 recruiter of PSIT while Tech Mahindra & Capgemini are Day-2 & Day-3 recruiters respectively. The institute proudly hosted 280 placement drive (Core & Software) in 2017 with salaries ranging from 3.75-15 Lac. PSIT also hosts the placement drive of the Indian Army, Indian Airforce and Indian Navy every year.
